eventho it serves as a dump for effects "not good enough" they are still some of the best ones, and the whole demo is entertaining.

This is the all-time-best "fake"-demo on C64! This demo set the Afrika-label so high on my personal list such that I always get happy when a new AFK-release pops up... but up to this day, they didn't match with their Hammarkullen-Standard:))

Seems that also the type of this demo is "faked", as it is for sure no Onefiler. But it should stay this way for fake's sake unless the mods will run wild on this ;))

The 2x2 font rocks, and I'm not just saying that.

the 8x8 rotzoom is the best in its league, its also the nicest 8x8 effect ever imho. also the distorter rocks hard despite the 8x8 resolution.

I think this demo was released just to spite those groups that actually do serious demos with these kinds of effects - it becomes pretty hard to do it again with a straight face after it's been done in a fake demo. :-)

Anyway, the bumpmapper actually looks pretty good for being 4x4, and most effects are pretty fast, which adds up to an enjoyable experience overall - though many of the effects are of course very ugly because of colour usage and the gfx mode (the tunnel is hardly bearable for instance). :-) All in all, a nice commentary on this kind of demos, and actually way better and smoother than most of them. And as for who's behind Afrika - well, it's pretty obvious who did the code at least.

Puzzling demo...Released as a joke, but the code is very wise. Most of the effects remind me of Mr. Sex late demos. However the screen modes are not as sophisticated as those Byterapers prods.
The bump mapping really seems 4x4, and the dithering pattern used it's probably one of the best I hase seen for multicolor modes.

This is how I like it. Quick. Simple and stunning. Some crazy techno tune would fit this one much better though ;-)))

WTF!! This sucks! This demo is WAY too GOOD to be from Afrika. We in Judas will no longer greet Afrika after this. Prepare to get on our fuckings-list from now on.. traitors! (:

This demo is fine! Lot's of nice eye-candy. I really like the flow in this one! No, long boring loader parts or shit like that, just pure demo.

I know, most of the people at LCP 2004 knows but we won't tell ya, it would ruin the suprise the day you find it out by yourself.
I was still missing a 'Skolsyster' contribution to this demo though...

hcl: the bump puzzled me aswell, but it cant be else then 4x4 at this speed :) it's just the clever charset and the very big lightsource that makes it look so fine.

Sorry to interfere, but the bump is also a 4*4 effect rite?!

That bump map has really cool shades with the right tile gfx, wow! Some 4*4 effects were nice too.

This looked absolutely awesome on the bigscreen, but on a TV the size of the pixels are a bit more obvious, so it doesn't look quite as cool anymore. Anyway, great effort for a fake demo. :)

I gave it an eight just becoz of the bumper and the speed in the rotozoomer. It was really impressing on a bigscreen, not really that impressing on 14"...
