My personal compo winner. Indeed the tune that best captures the DRAX sound imho. :)

I certainly hear the specific influence here and this is the tune that most precise cover my style... I hear a jamming mix of "Empty Spaces" and "Clarencio". And I spot almost perfect Drax-phrases here and there... Less tones in the lead and it would be even more draxish :D

Fantastic atmosphere and technicality! Could have a more recognizable melody.

Very draxish sound and a very good tune overall. The harmonies/melodies do sound a bit too crazy for me to be counted as "Draxonies".

A melodic tune, a good one on its own right.

I think closest to Drax style, especially in sound, compared to the other tunes. Musically it's different than Drax, missing those classic solutions. Still, my #1 in this compo. Well done.

ahhh it is super .... but it is it drax? I think drax is more slow on the lead and his trade is more that my mind do not stress to get the new tones that will be presented to me in a way... but the tune is really cool!

Yep, this one sure came closest to Darx.

Sadly my attempt did not get far. I agree with flex... and let's face it. There is only one and that's Drax himself :D

Can you win in your own compo, Jamm? B/c it sounds like a winner to me! Despite being a bit disharmonious in places ;-)

Out of all entries this one stands out the most with the real Drax' soundworld. Good job! My entry didn't make it far enough.. I first thought making a "Drax tune" would come out without struggling.. How wrong was I! :-D "Only Drax can do Drax tunes", second that..

Tune cannot be neither faster nor slower as everything starts to suck then ;) Period :D

I was sure Stinsen would have this one in the bag, but this here is the most Drax'ish entry to me, even though I have to agree with GH: The melody goes too fast! Great job :)

Hi Jammer, IMHO the lead could be better and like GH wrote: you should slow down the speed of the tune 1 or 2 levels , nevertheless is very nice and drax'ish flavored . i hope your next one will be better on the leading rythm

Nice one!
Gloomy piece with crying leads for melancholy. Sounds very Draxish to me ,D
Maybe the tune could have been 1 speed down so everything falls in place esp the slides on notes?
But well done since deadline was killing...

Chords, bassline and drums - I was 100% convinced that you'll rule these totally. Regarding lead, yes it really hurts in some parts, but there are also good moments. All in all well done!

It's your compo, just extend the deadline ;-) Nice one! Lead could be improved a bit. all in all it's draxish for sure.

the lead sound i find hyper-annoying, particularly in the lower registers.
but.
the rest is pure bliss. i pissed my pants when the snare kicked in and the bass started to do weird, evil things. a winner to me.
