Why has the download link made available now? This is a commercial product and I can't see why it should be given a different treatment with respect to the other commercial products, especially given that Didi and I had agreed that the download should not have been activated at least until I released QIE IIo (which is still far from happening).
This is very unrespectful.

Thanks to all those who expressed their appreciation of the game (especially LMan, those are really nice words)!

@lemming @ZeSmasher

Your comments prompted me to change the text on the website to this:

Get the game at the price you want!
Your purchase will be an appreciated reward
for the eight months of hard work that gave Zampo
a world where to merrily eat, run, and turbofart around.

@Didi

I had a quick go at the crack, and I think I've found a bug (besides the one found by iAN CooG): I had enabled the first two trainers, but then, after catching the first spinach can, the pig-of-steel mode stayed on as if I had enabled also the third trainer.

Whoever added this onefiled tag: The original was already one file, but reloaded itself after Game Over.

We only uploaded the PRG to the boards. No need to do a 4 file disk-zipped upload for a single file release.

Solved, works fine, just does not like Jiffy DOS for some reason...Loads fine with it but won't reload the game after death, run it with a Non Jiffy version of Hoxs64 (the latest) and bingo, when you die the loader kicks back in...

Hi Ian, where I'm getting it from its only a prg file and not the expected z64 4 files making a full diskimage.

That is what I found odd in the first place..

TH is where it is.

Not an issue as I have my original zip with the 3 versions it has so I can play happily, its purely for the trainer when I get really stuck later...Age vs gaming skill, age winning :)

mclane: you're doing something wrong, it's a d64, but also works if you extract the prg as it doesn't do any disk access. When you die, press fire and you should see some grey lines on black screen when it "reloads" (actually decrunching all the needed data simulating a reloading) and level restarts. Tested in Vice and Hoxs (latest builds of both)

Changed tag to "commercial game" if you prefer this phrase. Author asked for a donation which made it Donwationware for me. Did not check any official definitions.

Original reloads itself after Game Over. Our release depacks the required parts from memory.

This game is very cute. Suitable for kids to play. Worth to spend the €1+ IMO.

However I don't think this is game is really donationware...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donationware
"optional donation"... this looks more like commercialware to me (like lemming said).

I don't understand how "a little donation for hard work" ( http://www.retream.com/QUOD_INIT_EXIT_IIm/ ) differs from a commercially sold title at all, at least in a sense that it would be somehow 'less ok' to crack it than a commercial title. Same outcome from sales. And it's not like they're curing cancer anyway.

WOW this is so pretty!! The consistent use of hires graphics makes it look like a 16bit game.
