there is also no monitor, savestates, palette select, file inject loading etc on c64. next :)

and two of these will have to die a painful *death* some day too. or perhaps even three or four if everything works out as planned :)

I will fight to death to keep inject-into-RAM! It's pretty useful.

Edit: how the hell does one use quoting in comments?

Plasma combined with rasterbars offseted for every shared colour work great together :) Unless it's not that simple, then I deeply apologize ;)

In VICE just use old C64 model to get rid of grey bollocks. I don't have a breadbin that actually works at the moment, but that should be the same.

"there is no random mem init in a c64, so that wont happen."

there is also no monitor, savestates, palette select, file inject loading etc on c64. next :)

Ammo, yeah if there's a demand why not. Clarence told me about the bugs before they were discovered by the csdb audience, but I didnt want to disturb the accumulating votes with a V2.

Grey dots? Works perfectly in my Vice. Haven't had time to try it on the real C64 but will do it too. Splendid work! Looks really cool!

Too many (visible) bugs. Such a pity. It would have been a such a great intro.

Will you release a bug fixed version?

If anything, also try hoxs64 and not only x64sc from vice

there is no random mem init in a c64, so that wont happen. test with different settings. or even on a c64 (god forbid)

super nice and smooth, but still, I would like to see more creative intros than the run of the mill “plasma with logo” *yawn* :P

(just kidding, this is Oswald’s comment from my last little demo...)

Nice effort here. Good to see something a little different.

@Wertstahl, see production notes I've added the part of the source doing storing and restoring of those areas outside the 16k.

> a5 $7100
I have excellent typing skills. I meant: at $7700

Wertstahl: unpacked is $4000-7fff, and it uses $3b00-3dc7 but that's saved a5 $7100 and restored on exit.
"RAM besides chosen $4000 bytes area and exceptions has to be the same before and after running the intro. What happens during runtime is up to you."
Perfectly valid for me.
