You indeed have to attach the image in VICE and type LOAD"*",8,1 then RUN. No autostart.
As for the demo, I loved most of the effects and graphics but it felt more like a marketing machine to me for that party than a regular demo.

@Domey - you're right, not only lead instrument is copied from PRI, basically, it looks like Vincenzo is using full scope of Volker's sound setups.

I've been watching this production for the first time. Great stuff guys!

Your demo must be this good to enter our competition.

Awesome and scary at the same time!

Raveguru : check the goofs-comments about the diskID and formatting before writing the disk!

This demo is hard to run on a real machine! Jams the diskdrive after the intro on a standard C64 and 1541-II setup , no cart :/

I know I've run this demo before on another identical setup though.... !?!?

Awesome demo packed with great graphics, music and innovative code. Particularly enjoyed the scroller(s), ribbon like and upscroller. Last part music by Vincenzo rocks :-)

I love the scroller-on-a-ribbon-effect a lot! I remember we wanted something similar around this release date to be done in flash, but none managed... Was a kodak-moment showing them it was possible on c64 :) (oh, the bitterness!)

edit: ok, it's vice's autostart feat..

Wowo, SGR finally shows some *real* power!! You know, to me it's only demos that count. Some nice effects and ideas in this one, but i'm a little bit surprised that it took the 1st place among the others. But well, maybe it really deserves it.

Damn, someone actually made a basic-screen-scroll-out-effect before I managed to finish my old one from around 1993! Anyway, nice demo with cool effects, especially the sine scroller.

Lovely stuff, but I was very disappointed when it (and Error 23 90%) refused to load on my C128DCR.

I love this demo - but sadly I could only view it on the emulator :(. It seems to go black screen on my c64 after the singular fire logo. sadness ;(.

I saw invitation demos for ZX spectrum parties, but I never thought something like that will be ever presented at C64. And thanx to Soci and his team it is here. Bombastic presentation. Thumbs up!

Nice demo, but it crashes on my C64+1541 classic brown setup... (No cartridges attached...)

radiantx: after jam reset vice (ctrl-alt-r) than load it the commodore way while d64 image still attached

very nice demo. loved the end scroller and the sliding censor-style scroll

Looks cool from the screenshots, though I can't get it to run in VICE nor on my C64. Which drive model is required? The drivecode JAM's both in VICE and on my real 1541-II.

Why does Vincenzo's music (especially the leads) sound so much like PRI's masterpieces did?

Absolutely amazing! Agree with TCH, the best invitation I've seen so far on c64!

If Arok party will be half as good as this demo is, we're heading to a delicious weekend in July!

Congratulations Singular-guys, a job very well done!

I saw some fresh (and improved) effects coming by.
Nice!

I wonder what the extra 36% will bring us then...
