@Sidder: I've spoken with Shogoon and he told me that he doesn't remeber if 'Sling' was made especially for compo in 2002.

"Sling" from 2002 was brand new song (imho), wasn't it?

I've never expected that Shogoon would compose new song for any party compo. WOW! It's a pleasure to compete with such a legendary musician. :]

Shogoon was infortmed about the party on Thursday , and he wrote this on Friday morning for the Saturday's compo :) . It's his fisrt tune after 8 years break (well... I think that those few released after 1999 were worktunes made earlier which got just released)

this tune invoked some troubles ;-)
the tune is so big becasue Shogoon at first brang us only data w/o player saved from HardTrack Composer 2.0 beta and there was no packer for it, so Shogoon went back his home in Katowice and re-attended with HC2 disk + his worktune, I quickly checked if 30k saved file from HC2 is playable and then Volcano added his player to the music.

Risky business to have 'Laxity' in the title, making my expectations very high. I'd rather hear a 'Tribute to Shogoon' tune by Shogoon. Musically it's well wrapped up, no room for doubts of where the music is going to...

Too simplistic for a Shogoon tune, but good as a "I'm still around guys" signal. It would be great to have you between participants in upcoming c64.sk's Sid Compo #7? ;-)
