Just seen it for the first time and this is a pretty intensely psychedelic intro. I like it!
[and @theryk - this one for example i would like to add to my general collection, to have a list of demos and intros on here that i really favourize. this is one usecase of that i wrote. ofcourse i can download it, but then again it is no longer connected in the vast context that it has here]

From intros.c64.org:
"For some reason i never get these logo's when loading the .prg from 1541U-II. How does the random thing work? /Daison"

Interesting...

The CIA timer regs ($dc04/5) are used for randomising the colour settings and selected logo at the beginning. Perhaps the ultimate resets these registers when a .prg is autoloaded? (where there will be no "idle" state in-between C64 reset and loading a prg from disk).
I didn't have an ultimate at the time I coded this. So, I advise to load it from disk/D64 to get a random initiation. :)

This will also apply for Onslaught Intro #02

Very nice, though the scroller was quite hard to read.

great intro!
neat music from one of my fav composers, and I reckon it's the best logo I've seen from JSL so far, good one. only minor thing is the graphics done by Sky. dunno lots about coding but I suppose conrad did really well too here.
but I was just wondering this, how can this be intro #1? lol what about all the previous onslaught intros then?
oh in oz they probably count backwards too. (for the record, I'm only joking cos I know for a fact aussies do everything the other way around :) )

reminds in a way of the old hotline intros from custard&cesspool (different screens everytime)

Johan: Keep loading the intro up on either this one or the game-pack 2 release, and it is there. ;)
