I was way more impressed by this than you probably intended :D

Most professional, catchy and aesthetic tune a the party. True winner to me.

Nice piece but not worth winning this time. Some reputation points given I guess?? :-)

Come on guys, agreed this is a rather no frills tune compared to alternative fuel but its awesomely funky!

And the solo is just mind bending!

Just remember how we all cried in joy at the musiccompo during that solo:-D

bookah, in your dreams ;) it's not half as good as jeroen's previous magic.

Listening to it alot more than twice. Wish it was longer.

Naaaah, this one beats A.fuel :D

Funky-catchy bassline, catchy lead, crazy solos in the middle, oldskool instruments... what else do you need? :P

A 100% highlight.

nice and energetic, i like the breaks and the ovreall buildup of the tune. though, this one can hardly be beaten by alternative fuel, can it. this one's not my favorite jt-tune, not yet that is.

Definately not Jeroen's musical highlight, but he deserves some namevoting for a change. Jeroen's brakes are unbeatable, his creative use of simple (but spot on) musical ideas proves he doesn't need much more than this to get us going.

the break-it-down section makes it for me, although overall... you know, Jeroen should have won at x'04, so this is your friend, justice, showing up at your doorstep with a four years worth of delay.

Ok, doublespeed %)

Check the mp3...
Oh! I hate to listen on emu00000! :>

Really a nice and funky tune... I really dig that solo :)

Sorry to disappoint you, but the tune actually IS doublespeed. Only the rastertime display in the lower part of the screen is active, the one at line 52 in the upper half for some strange reason isn't. ;-)
Simply had to investigate it as the drum sounds and the vibratos just sounded too much like it, I couldn't believe it was singlespeed only.

Funky and energetic, but a rushjob it must be. the ending uses a rookie composer transpose up 3 times, then a note to end.. still great though!

Jeroen: first of all, congrats of making anything for C-64. Listening to it now at home, does not make the blownup, but at the party time - nothing could beat it.

This was actually the only tune, that played correctly under the volume and bass overdriven conditions.

Secondly, it played like multispeed. Can someone kill me, please?

Fucking A.

sounds more like a jam session than a proper tune. quite a disappointment knowing that it came from my one and only master :(

Wut? This is singlespeed? Didn't sound like it! 8) Really nice tune, extremely precise instruments as always from JT. Not an immediate favourite of mine like Alternative Fuel was on X2k6, but I guess it'll grow to be one soonish once I listen to it more often! ;-D
Kudos for making this in an assembler, is there anyone out there that still composes like this? 8)

I listened three times now and must admit it grew on me. A very good tune, no doubt. And despite the fact I'm a great fanboy of Jeroen, this one won't make it above 8 in my book. No goosepimples this time, sorry to say.

I only needed to listen once to know the winner of the compo :). The melody is just so mind trippingly fantastic.
