I'll miss you as a fellow Avatar member, but we for sure will stay in good contact.
A farewell gift could not have been done any better, it almost makes me cry.

Thanks friend! And good luck on all the demo coding!

This demo/intro was my parting gift to Avatar as I left the group as explained in the scrolltext.

This is a Krionyx release? The filename contains the Avatar acronym?

Anyone familiar with the Ultima series ought to get the motif I was going for. The painting that adorned the box top of Ultima IV - Quest of the Avatar was scanned and converted for this project. I know wired pics aren't popular or much respected these days, but I did put many hours of touch up work into this bitmap, and though it's far from perfect, I'm pretty satisfied with my first attempt at a full screen bitmap. However, the fun part for me was learning how to code an 80 column sprite scroller.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to test this on my real c64, so hopefully it will run ok on the hardware.
