And hermit... That 70's herbie is what I was thinkin of, like Palm Grease and Spank-a-lee from Herbie's Thrust album. Love that sheet :)

@clonK: Hey man, I can still recall Foist! It would be nice to hear some new SID from you :)

Nice jam-track, man! At this speed, playing live the crazy lead player must be a racing-guitarist, sure :)

Sounds completely lively for me. Steppe is right about Shogoon, I'd add that I can notice some Bjerregard-ish complexity, with the footnote that he keeps melodies a little more on track ;)

My only 2 gripes are: 1- the superfine evil bass part appears only twice, for mere seconds; 2- this kind of ending is not a proper ending, sounds like as if the power gone from the lead guitarist's amp suddenly.

Hehheh, no problem, I got used to comparisons.. Of course everybody takes ideas from other composers' tunes, even from live music bands.
And you guessed all right, I really love to listen Hearby Hancock... maybe his music had a great effect on me after Mezzoforte, which is more popular, but still a great music.
These bands really remind me C64 music, mainly because they used a lot of syntheshizers in their recordings that ways.
And Shogoon inspired me a lot too :)
Anyway, thanks for all the critics. It's an exciting experiment how big spread can be seen in voting when an experimental music is put on CSDB....

Sounds jazz funk a whole lot more than it does guitary. Herbie Hancock comes to mind... which is a good thing :) Best tune I've heard you do. I likes.

I know how annoying the "reminds me of composer X" comments are to some people, but at the risk of getting plonked: Gave me a good Shogoon vibe, sounds and style are pretty nice in some places. Some "ouch my ears" moments make up for that, unfortunately. ;-)

Jan, You're right, maybe too much dissonant sounds here and there, especially in the last solo, I'm out of key for a while...I know..
This happens to me some times, when I don't feel like doing much harmonic matches... at least I try to leave my conventional perspectives sometimes....

Sleeping is luxury today.. however it is worth to spend a little time again with the great SID. Listen the crazy dissonant solo near the end, and imagine the crazy soloist :)...
