Yeah stable timing. Mind DMC v4 Surgeon used is hacked for 2SID, not a dedicated player. IMHO Run/Stop play in it is badly done.

Nice tune btw. Could use some more modern sounds though, here and there.

Why would it play "better" because the player for one sid is called at one place of the screen and the player for the other sid at another? Because the timing of the playback for each group of three voices will be somewhat more stable, or what?

Added a 2x version after booker suggested me to do so and actually plays better. $d400 player on upper half and $d500 on lower half.
@raf: yeh, i update vice almost weekly

so you mean you compile SVN or CVS or whateva sources as frequent as possible? ;)

I'm already using 2.2.7 built today. ;)
Glad it works, I "blindly" guessed from the memory dump because I couldn't run the vsf, but it was rather straightforward, the only hard part was to manually pack the 2 parts =)

snapshot loads on 2.2 (is that newest or I miss sth?) but was probably made on 1.14 by Surgeon...

and yeah, it works ok! thanks :)

there, please validate it and if it's ok you can remove the vsf (which doesn't even load on newer vice versions).

NOTE:
this is a vice snahshot we used to play the music as there was no time to make proper executable. you have to open the snaphoshot in vice and set stereo sid to $d500 . To start the music press run/stop. volounteer to make proper self-exe out of it is warmly welcomed - when i've got resulting relocated tunes from Surgeon after linking them one sid played sounds with shifted pitch (similar problems occured in samar's stereo sid tunes collection but eg Ramos can't hear that ;) ).... so we used this to play at the party, right? ;)
