JTR, April 1st is long gone, there is no need to pretend the CPC has a better palette anymore.

Obviously you did this to stop Mermaid from quitting for CPC. Thank you for that... (although Vanja has a point there, especially concerning the Batman logos - I would say they are better by a factor of 6). On the second thought, why don't we all quit for the CPC? With the improved colour palette, the grass might be greener over there.

Cruzer: Been there, done that. Don't feel any urge to do that mistake all over again.

Yes. True. Maybe it's time for me to let go too. Family, work, cleaning the house, shopping. Here I come. I'm gonna sell all my Commodore equipment on eBay.

Who or what is Offence anyway?

oh... and I was one of the anonymous downvoters of "Another Beginning" btw... I have a spammer account you see... even the moderators don't know that... because I'm very l33t.
... I am also the real guy behind Richard all the long... I am actually a lot older than I say I am... I was a secret Ikari member back in '87... I could go on and on...

Nooooo!

Noooooooooooooo!

This can't be happening!

You bastards! Now if I try to post my demo about how I'm giving up the C64 to start doing Amstrad CPC graphics (it has such a superior palette and much better Batman pictures after all), people will think I'm copying you!

This is a lovely demo though, well done <3

all of your demos are lousy anyway, so no big deal if you all quit. None cares... have a lame life again, you know the score...

It is with great sorrow that this release were now, because we were working, planning and hoping for a great release later this year... but the internal conflicts are to great and overwhelming... we just do not find this to be something that is fun anymore, we have issues and personal agendas that do not fit into a group of many persons anymore, without a clear creative leader or director it is no fun and it all ends in fights and heavy arguments.

The love and respect internally in the group is not there anymore and we have all different directions we wanted to go... this were to much for us and that is the reason why we just quit! We can not have stress in this hobby of ours... I always wanted it to be great but it turned out bad in a way. We got the world heavy weight champion ship in nerding but we are not friends anymore due to the success is my guess... to many people wanting to take different roles...

Well... some of us are working together on i-phone apps and the like, some of us will stay friends and that is a good thing.

It will all be great in the end... happy for it to create someones day, but it actually created the death of offence this one... hate that fact! I even had to code some things in order to get this last farewell demo from us out...

Your PAL

Brilliant little release. The hires interlace looks awesome. Music and animations are great. If Hollowman was raised outside of Oslo, this would be pretty close to what he'd be making (with some nice effects added and with more angst, ofcourse). Made my day.
