Bottom fire was properly credited as ripped.
Glad you like it a bit.

...as Didi freely admits in scroll text, so hmhkey, fire at bottom of screen was ripped, but without claiming to have done it himself.

Release might not be top compo material (nor is mine hehehe), but it made me very happy after a painful and dull week full of work and terrible weather in Northern Germany. And only by 10% because it's a MYD! intro, but 90% because I see this great logo and cool charset united in some intro with a sweet tune by spider - plus -finally!- some(!) fire effect. Our lazy bunch talked a big deal some years(!) ago how to actually use that logo, alas, we've been too lazy and chaotic/distracted by so many other projects that we (at least I) had totally forgotten about it - until today :) For sure it'd be even cooler - or let's better say: HOTter! if the flames on top of the logo itself were animated in addition, maybe only by a cheap $D016 techtech wobbler... anyway Big thanks to Didi - who will from now on go by the honorary title "old fire ripper" ;)! <3 <3 <3

there was a similar intro with also x expanded sprite fire on the bottom back in the days, anyone knows it? iirc it was NTSC with out of shape rasters on my PAL machine.
