@Color Bar: yes, that's true! But I wanted to have a "clean" exit without syntax error. This only allows for a non-zero-byte in the middle of the three 00-basic-ending-bytes.

You can replace the SRE $E100 with LDA #$1b to save 1 byte. It gives an error message after running, but the font is displayed correctly.

Cool! We're mad. It's official! With the approach of forcing a LOAD"$",8 before running, we could spread a whole lot of code inside multiple filenames. And maybe start the font creation code in the directory listing with a SYS 2088 instead? *happy*

there must have been a connection hiccup, the file is correct and it was already on 1st upload.

Hmm, just tested again with Vice 3.1 rev.34142M for Windows 32bit. Works as expected. Any further information on the setup you have? Maybe I should re-up the d64?

[edit] Downloaded d64 did not work as stated by Color Bar. Replaced the file (old one had 8 DLs).

Vice complains that it cannot attach the disk. Have you uploaded the right one?
Other emulators fail too.

So basically this creates the same font as in AND$01nam-Style[35+2 bytes] but with the filename-approach.

But the real reason for releasing this: I managed to get _below_ 30 bytes ;)
