Absolutely nothing wrong with having a 'straight' cover when it's as well done as this one. Presentation is very nice too!

Really nice. Spot on! Love this raw cucumber cover. The melody is bang on the lyrics, as well. Heh, yes I know the pain to do covers... The whole TSOM ride just says alot ;)

Thanks for the lovely feedback people. It is exactly as many have stated. I love the original tune a lot and after seeing/listening to the many creative entries (very interesting ideas), I still felt the need for a raw cover that should attempt to give the exact same mood/feel as the original does to me. I spend a load of evenings to try to carefully listen to every bits and pieces of her vocals and tried to squeeze as much distort into the lead as I could, without overdoing it too much. My main goal was to make a tune - I would lile to play on loop for anlong time - and that part I succeeded. To read what other experience is awesome and fuel for me to want to do more covers or new tunes as well. But yes, its a "as close to 1 to 1 cover" as I could make it with the given time.
I hope the critics also know how hard is to do a pure cover that squeezes the original into the SID. Eg. her lyrics arent starting on pattern starts, and almost no vocal sequence can be repeated, she tweaks it + I wanted all her crazy portamentoes to be in there as much as I could.

I wanted to do lore about the drums/bass too, but in the end. I liked it this way. So enjoy 馃槝 and if toy don't sorry. I cannot fix that for you.

Hats off the the other creative remixes whwre I can still hear the original being used as reference. Great creativity.

Yours "plain covers I do" Scarix

What I secretly hoped for: A competently done, straightforward cover version.

Nice conversion. Doesn't contain either heroics (like Heman) or any experiments. It's just plain down to the peculiar as you walked down the street in this institution. I would call this the “Sedated version” for my own memory of this compo.

Despite the original tune, it's distinctive Scarzix. Very good effort and out of the all entries, probably most faithful to the original.

Very well done, nothing revolutionary to freak out about, but very solid version with cool sounds, overall pretty cool easy listening and due to not using samples or multiplay or tons of RAM, more likely to be in fact used than some others. Close to perfection.
