Yeah, good s**t ;)
I was quite 'disappointed' when I saw that intro and had my almost done, but it's kinda different anyway :)

@Yogibear: thanks, but personally I'm not satisfied with it. It was basically meant as a placeholder for a 'proper' logo, but I had absolutely no inspiration for that and got bored with working on the intro.

If you do see a screw up, like poking $3fff and not restoring that, let me know.

It does use 4KB per rules. I use the stack, and zero page, but those are exempt from the 4KB. I swap the tune from $2600-$27ff to $1000-$11ff and swap it again on exit.

Clone my github repo and do a `make packed`, you'll see all data is between $2000-$2fff.

Memory range: $2000-$20ba $00bb
Memory range: $20c8-$21ff $0138
Memory range: $2208-$2327 $0120
Memory range: $2348-$23e7 $00a0
Memory range: $2488-$25c5 $013e
Memory range: $2600-$27ee $01ef
Memory range: $2b00-$2be9 $00ea
Memory range: $2c19-$2cb8 $00a0
Memory range: $2ce8-$2f4b $0264
Memory range: $2f50-$2ffd $00ae
exomizer sfx 8192 minidycp-pre-exo.prg -o minidycp.exomized.prg
 Reading "minidycp-pre-exo.prg", loading from $2000 to $2FFE.
 Crunching from $2000 to $2FFE.

nice intro Compyx, but it has no mem-footprint of $1000. its only packed 4k ? right ? this 4k competition rules are : maximum RAM footprint of $1000 bytes at one block....

@Jammer: yeah, forgot about the FLD. What are the rules on CSDb for changing an already awesome title intro something more awesome for a release? =)
The FLD eats a lot of rastertime, tried adding dycp-related code in the FLD, but that took too much space.

Anyway, I managed to squeeze some of my favourite (and overused) effects into 4KB and even pixeled some new graphics ;)

Whoa! And plus FLD, I suppose? ;)

That was surprisingly hard to do. The idea was simple: the bitmap logo has 'free space' in its layout, only 20 chars wide, so we interleave code with graphics.

Yeah right.
