I've always thought that you could take a list of software published in North America from 86-88 and just assume there's an ESI crack of it that exists. I've been told I'm full of shit by people who thought they had every ESI crack ever released. But look at this. It's hard to believe these full-intro, full-price-game ESI cracks could stay hidden for so long, but UCF's Earth Orbit Stations +D came first and that's what everybody already had. My guess: download time is precious, floppies cost money, and nobody cared about having a maybe-crappy crack of something they werent ever going to play in the first place.

There is, or was, a big gap in ESI releases between June 12th and July 15th, now we have one for June 28th. This is during the ESI/UCF release war, at the tail end. ESI declared victory with California Games on July 15th and then in Create a Calendar on the 17th Mitch says "7 for 7 and (UCF) dead in the water". I've never been sure what 7 cracks this refers to, only that this means ESI had 7 cracks that either UCF didnt put out at all or put out less than 100% versions of.

With this release we might have all 7, if these are the cracks being counted:

Accolade Comics
California Games
Create a Calendar
Defender of the Crown
Earth Orbit Stations
Pirates
Up Periscope
