The original 2x2 font (multicolor for the numbers) was first seen in Star Frontiers releases: V Intro

I realize CyberBrain's comment is rather old, but just wanted to say this is definitely not even close to the first multiload demo on C64.

Try this one for an example: Demo Disk (this was the first multiload-demo on C64 that I saw back in the day)

An important part of C64 history! The first multiload-demo, and the first demo with a 4-directional picture 'bouncer' (WORLDS FIRST!)(at least this is what they say)!! Check dis - not because it is cool, but because it's history.
