Jailbird: I was suprised as anybody else when I suddenly received an email which said that it was available, I didn't know it would be in such a terrible shape.
I really really do hope this won't happen again and the next issue is getting better, I understand the critism very well.

"Don't let the criticism get to ya!"

Duke, this sentence gives me the hint that you are obviously not too familiar with the editors' policy of listening to criticism. ;)

A really uninspired issue, and one that quite frankly should have been cancelled and re-done with new material. Try to keep things fresh by only taking into account the 3 months preceding a release.

But I am sure you guys can pick up the pace and put out a stronger release. I want to see more from you! Don't let the criticism get to ya! :)

a really lousy issue, but atleast it didnt last long. but on the positive side, some things mentioned in the party reports really triggered my imagination: Sven going to the city called Genk, Commander searching for a treasure in the forest, and "Next to me Commander/Role is partying like hell, wow!"

the content is indeed outdated because of huge delay (read the magazine's editorial), there is a big discussion about the whole release as we speak within the 'staff'.

Ok, I guess I have to join in the feedback-hysteria;

Editors lacks what it really takes to interest the readers, the magazine is dull and without any decent chapters whatsoever.

I start to doubt this magazine actually has any future at all. If it does, please editors, try to have more updated articles and partyreports.

The news from Covenant is +/- half year old, my sixth logos collection is already
out since January, my 3rd picture collection "flashback" is out too by Tropyx,
the Covenant website is DEAD since January, means also all my 2005 diskcovers
no one can see, It just disturbed me seeing this old news, is the AP-Crew now busy
with scene or not, they surely could SEE that these wares are already out..
Small magazine too. ;/

Took me about ten minutes to read, but since that's the time that's seemingly invested in the articles as well, I guess it's ok.

Glad to see a new issue but to be honest, it's the worst ArachnoPhobia so far :(

Hrm, I thought these guys were dead. Maybe that was just wishful thinking, given that this is possibly the only diskmagazine to actually be worse than scene world. Of course, it has an article by merman in it, so maybe they're just merging in order to create the most horrifically bad diskmagazine that the world has ever experienced.

Poorly written, light on actual content - only the party reports (which were utter, utter tripe), the gamezone (craptalking about lemon, as if there wasn't enough craptalking going on at lemon without being all fucking meta about it). Okay, that wasn't fair, they also mentioned looking forward to grubz. And in other news, yesterday I took a shit, and today I might take one as well. There was also the craptalk chapter, i forget that. On account of it being exactly what it said on the box.

This is easily the worst diskmag released this year - although, to be fair, SWO's final issue might give it a run for its money if/when it arrives.

But the music is fucking great. Way too good to be used in aracnophobia. Maybe we should rip it and re-use it so that it gets heard, because there is no fucking way that you would want to read this pile of unprocessed feces for long enough to actually listen to a whole track. I would rather be raped in the ass by the authors of this magazine than to ever have to read their text again.

EDIT: oh, the intro would have been okay if only you didn't have to warp mode through the buildup. FUck I'm glad I didn't try and watch that on hardware due to it being 3am and not wanting to walk across the fucking room. Needs more colour, too.Or failing that, ANY FUCKING COLOUR AT FUCKING ALL. No, it's not hard, i was able to set the colour of the sprites in the motherfucking monitor, so you can do it when you fucking ACTUALLY WROTE THE FUCKING COCKSUCKING CODE. Yes, I realise this doens't take care of the H-scroller, but given that it is half res text already, that could have been taken care of by a motherfucking heroin addicted gutter whore.
