It's a great classic but somehow I don't fall in love with it.

The sad passing of Florian Schneider (R.I.P) made me think of this great classic. Stay safe, Ash & Dave, wherever you two are these days.

A true classic. It’s a shame all these old demos don’t have many votes :-(

I always wanted to make a two player game out of this, so that you can shoot laser beams from the eyes of those jumping heads, to try to hit the other head, at the moment when you're facing the other.

The scroll text mentions "Yes!! We finally wrote our own software for Yin's sound sampler!". That software can be found here: The Flipping Fast Super Turbo Sampler. This also means that this demo is most likely released around 14 June 1988 or a bit after.

Joe... it is so cool to look at your posts as you really post in the best of the crop a lot of times... I love it too...

Another mind-blasting classic. 20 years after people talk about refurnishing old games. I would love to see the same made with demos.

Edit: When you see this, there's a little bit of Ash & Dave in there just as with the c64 scene if one wants :)

Being a teenager when this demo came out, it just blew my mind. The kraftwerk loop going BOING-BOOM-TSCHAK! over and over and over, the adorably amateur'ish handpixeled animated bouncing heads, the way the Electric logo flickers and the way the changes of colour and speed of the scroller makes the scrolltext more expressive. This is such a cool classic.

The very best of samples, humour, excellent graphics and so on... Interresting idea of generating the feeling of a neon-light for instance. A Killer!
