This picture is awesome. Gives me Twoflower vibes.

The colours were chosen based on my memory of fashionable (...and perhaps questionable?) colours used in cover art/posters from that era, and heavily influenced by PURPLE HAZE and me visualizing him under a spotlight. God, I sound like a right "arty farty" now.... :D

Antialias is always a dilemma. I for one would even in this case feel the urge to just test if I could maybe use another color at some chars to maybe tone the things a bit. Just a little bit maybe.
Just fooling around, this is a beautiful piece in 3 colors specially chosen and gives the theme a character. Sometimes it’s good to be stubborn.

Nice piece indeed, and what NinjaDRM said.

It also makes me think of what a Dutch techno musician, who sadly died too soon, once said:
"Just turn up the distortion and eventually anything will turn into a guitar."

#0 = bright black? :D

Anyway, nice pic. With a scroller and some thoughts, might have been a cool onefiler... :)

Really nice to see this one. The usage of yellow, purple and black transmits a clear, good vibe (using the bright colors #0-8 often does that), and I like that you left parts of the composition simple and uncluttered.

The only thing I oppose to is the area below the face, where it gets more obvious that a full circle was used to create the shape of the hair/head. I'm sure this was made on purpose, but it should perhaps have been done in either a clearer or more obfuscated way?

My response to Alias Medron's release, HEY JOE! and Twoflowers suggestion.

Music is LITTLE WING by Jimi Hendrix, arranged by UBIK.
