What Wisdom and Fanta said... the original is much better IMHO, one of my favourites... but this one doesn't touch me at all.

uber-cool dance floor mix. the original always had a little too sparse arrangement for me. Here A-Man managed to fill the gaps and then some.

"chuck norris on meth" :)

we'll have to settle this original vs. cover fight with a beach volley match!

This is my current number #1 of this compo. Remembers me of a good summer evening where I am going to meet some good friends at a party. Loveley! :)

Fucking ace! I've been listening to this on loop this evening all the time. Kicks ass like Chuck Norris on meth.

Like always good bassline and cool arpeggios. Great arrangement mate.

Lights on, fade the mist, the elevator made its way all the way up! Very hard to cover such an excellent song but somehow you managed to give the ol' gold an additionally fresh wet rubbing with the texturizer. Just watch out for some crazy DJ now so he/she won't rip this song, bake it in the oven, serve the cake, eat the cake but not letting anyone get the recipe :)

I like that you manage to take such a classic c64-tune and still give it your spin and great arrangement ideas. However, the only problem with such a great original is that any cover pales in comparison. My hat's off to Zardax.

I say A-man because the name is written in the binary in screencodes and it's clearly readable with a monitor or starcommander hexeditor. I count 5 sids with names on them, clearly breaking the rule of anonymousity. :P
Edit: ok, 4 now, englisman has been replaced with a cleaned one :D

I say this is A-man. His style of arpegios (multilayer arpegios and at start filtered) betrayed him. All in all interesting music.

Slick arrangement, good sounds and execution. #2 or possibly #1.
The cauldron cover has more funk and groove and is my personal #1 so I'd place this one at #2.

I'm guessing it's not by me. If I'd do a cover, it'd be an old track.

Great soundwork, but unfortunately it completely ruins that unique warm feeling in the already excellent original.

Heh.. 3e time it looped now and I'm almost certain I can guess who did it due to a few typical tell tale details that I love from this musician in other work :)
