As I recall, this tune was actually made in 2006... Niobyte originally had this tune as a youtube video, which was posted around 2007.

really reminds me on what i did in the earlier builds of goattracker. same set of arpeggios (even the filtered ones), disharmonious triangle fills and misplaced bass going on about anywhere. good one, nice to see more metal-influenced people in the scene. =) that one lead melody doesn't seem to fit somehow.
(still, now that i had a listen, it makes me wish i actually finished/released those tunes i mentioned)

This SID has awesome sounds and themes but the arrangement might be improved much, in my opinion.

NioByte has made a lot of "work/test" C-64 tunes and hasn't been involved in C-64 demoscene at all.

He has been active also on other platforms.

Quite impressive. This Nick Bold fellow should release a collection (rather than individual tunes) of what he has been up to the past three years, and prior to that.

Is he/has he been active on other platforms?

Very nice bassline/sound, but the melodies, rythm and arrangement makes me all nervous. If this would be a game you would be skiing downhill trough a dense forest at night. You know you might get badly smacked by a tree but still you just keep keeping on keeping on. Because there is a beer or something waiting in the other end.

Great tune... I really enjoyed it! Cool sounds from across the ditch. :)
