@Digger:

The parts I have written are up on http://allt.jonatanforsberg.net/krams/c64/c64text.htm

As for the general contents. Iit is a c64 diskmag afterall, and should be read on a machine playing the included sids. My tip is you get a bigger screen :-)

I would be lovely if the VN interface had an option to increase the line height as I can't read it anymore (I used to when I was a teenager). Shouldn't be too difficult to achieve as it uses proportional text rendering engine anyway.

Also, was thinking of an up-down page scroll instead of displaying pages – come on, it's 2009 ;-)

Meanwhile, is there a chance to get the content as plain text/HTMl somewhere?

Groepaz: I'm using a 1701 and looks good. But like I've mentioned previously, will remove it from further issues.

Edit: some further feedback tells me to remove light blue when on grey background. So those two colours will be out of most of the text now. :)

Due to outfit restrictions we want to get an entirely new outfit made. Using the same advantages of the existing one but including features requested by people.

Biggest problem is finding someone who can do that. At the moment I've compiled a list of "must have" and another list of "want".

"Groepaz: on my monitor the yellow looks fine, but will consider it in the future for emulator users of course."

hu? the *only* way i can somewhat read it is in emulator. on the c64 i can hardly see there are letters at all :)

Thnx Ed & Joe for work we done together again.

Leming: yes, it is difficult, otherwise it would be there ;)

Groepaz: on my monitor the yellow looks fine, but will consider it in the future for emulator users of course.

Regarding text size, too big, too small... ideally 2 sides is best I agree, but I'm sure people will get over it.

Is it that difficult to put a bloody music title/author on the screen when its being changed? I have asked so many times for this... this is the last time Im asking :) It is very important that I know who's tune is playing, ok maybe its obvious with draxes tunes coz you can guess that its his but others arent that obvious. Just to let you know - again - this is annoying me and many others!
Otherwise great work, Im happy to be part of it. Waiting for the Syntax edition. You know I Love ya really :)

ok finally checking it out too... writing this while reading:
- intro: i like the visuals, very nice. as usual the "music" doesnt do it for me at all. (but thats just me really)
- 3 disks. yawn. please, if there are more than 2 disks, tell the user WHICH disk to insert instead of the rather pointless "disk" notice =) (infact i would recommend to simply stop collecting more content and release the issue if 2 sides are full, save the rest for the next issue)
- yellow text on grey background? WTF. whoever had that bright idea, next time atleast try how it looks on the real thing (its completely unreadable really. even in emu it is unless pal emulation is disabled, and even then its hard to read) violet isnt exactly great to read on grey background either ... sign of emulameration? =)
- nitpicking "zoomania": i wouldnt call a one byte patch "some random bugs have been fixed" =P (i have sent a proper fix that also makes the game run at proper speed on ntsc so its not super hard to ninja, if you care =P)
- "fredrik released a SID" ? wow, gotta check right now! =D
- credits: it would be nice to see a list of the people who are responsible for the inline graphics here, just like in any other "proper" mag.

the content itself, i guess everything has been said already, so i wont repeat it :)

OT: mason: if there'd actually be a way to tell which files have been changed in your archive and when, then it would be easy to update things here if needed. its entirely your "fault" =)

Didn't fail to not disappoint me. :-)

Some highlights: Best intro ever, grand respect to Ed & Joe. The LCP report by Leming and Booker was totally hilarious! Also, great music overall. The Mini-Awards was a fine read.

Random reflections:

I thought the World of Demos feature was a bit on the whiny side this time, but perhaps the whining serves some purpose which I fail to see.

The news chapter could be more journalistic in its approach, actively persuing leads and rumours (I'm aware it requires quite a bit of effort to pull off, though). Still a good read.

NSR still needs to be revived. Twoflower, Puterman?

Great issue once again! Interesting and well written articles by the three headed editor monster, good fits-the-bill-gfx from Joe and some great tunes by Drax, Harries, Zzap69 and the new Norwegian guy. Definetly floppy transfer material once I manage to unpack my C-stash in the new place. And thanks to Macx for saving my life in Schweeeden. Having a scene doc rules! :)

The gfx technique is awesome! The woman in the intro looks a little like Beyonce Knowles (the eyes and mouth). I'm gonna enjoy this release - thanx!

Excellent as expected, lots of quality content! I really like the gfx, very pretty stuff!!

The news falsely states that Datastorm 2010 will feature the PC-platform. Less important but nevertheless: Up Rough is shortened to UP! not URS :)

Interesting and worth reading every page as always. Best news in years: "Fredrik released another sid". I sensed a lot of irony. Thumbs up.
