@Dane: we're just having some graphician fun here... i put some multicolour 2x1 pixels in this horible hires-picture: Single Colour is Ugly and leon decided to make a parody of one of my PC pictures: http://portfolio.tehwinnar.com/images/phsr0008.jpg by painting something in MC looking like FLI

Good fun ;)

I agree with Hein. Only makes sense to sacrifice stuff in order for it to 'look' like FLI if you use it in a demo (combined with a random effect, of course) for even more wow-factor. But for a single picture release it doesn't really make sense.

I think there's too much dithering and there's no strong lightsource, which causes it to look unbalanced. With cast shadow and more resolute colour (combination) choices, it would've worked better. Using so many colour combinations to give it a FLI look is in my opinion useless. You might as well do a FLI-job.

For MC it rocks.
But the right nose-angle could use some additional 5°. ;)
The dolphins are great,though! 8D

It would look much better with less dither. Maybe you could get rid of the half of the dither.

I've seen better pix by Leon.
Nice job with the dolphins and the coloring but the jawline and the mouth of the girl are bit wack.

I also don't dig the composition.

I bet anatomy twists are not because of Leons inabilities, but becoause of him trying to restrict himself to multicolor limitations while trying to make it look like fli.

Very good job.

Hmmmm, it would be better to use the dolphins and the girl not in the same picture. With the girl i would have done something strange, mystic... and with the dolphins something kitschie...

Anyway, you have skillz, you rule ;)

Crazy coloring, but next time concentrate on the anatomy a bit more ;) I like the dolphins \o/

Yes the girl looks freaky, but exactly this I like. What I don't like is the overall colour scheme. Too few hights and depths. (however funny as it is the typical fli colouring...) Nice all in all!

Should be called 'Inbred girl' :)

Nice technique though. Keep pushing your own boundaries.

edit: I just realised the relevance of the name... is this really only MC? If so, double marks!

I really like the coloring but the face of the girl looks a bit freaky.

This one has a completely new kind of coloring, comparing to your prior pictures. Ok for it being non-interlaced, but it's nice to see you moving on and trying different styles!

But FLI!?!? Nah ;). Get a FLI editor and stop fooling us :).

I really like graphicians working in plain MC, makes life so much easier for us coders to do something cool with it. Abour the picture, nice overall picture but the eyes really suck and the mouth looks like a boxer with teeth protection imo.

But hey, I couldn't have done it better myself. =)

The colours & the dolphins remind me of the graphics in some Spirit-demo.

Let's hope it is a sign of something new in Leon's work. At least regarding the use of anatomy. ;b
Maybe it signs the realisation that strong aspects of his talent can only go so far without improving on the weaknesses as well.
