Incredible - if not for that nice story nobody would have looked at the memory when this piece of monitor coded bloatware is actually running.
Trolling yourself can hardly be your primary goal but on this binary combined with such an exciting bullshit story you show upper class quality in this discipline.

A bit of trivia about this intro .
Originaly created in december 1988 but the disc somehow got delayed in the post ( snail mail as we used to call it )
and was eventually released in 1989.
in this intro , if you look in the machine code/memory
youl see no scroller text ..why?,
i remember it being a pain doing the logo
( was hires not double chars to start with )
and getting the picture into a small amount of memory
to keep the crack size low
so i used the upper characters for the scroll and was still
able to display the logo in a tiny amount of memory so it
didnt bloat the cracks up, thats why when you look in the
memory
there appears to be no scroll text there , also
there is a real 'true' random generator code inside this
old intro for the setup of the x and y of the wizballs when
the screen is black , if you run the intro on a real c64
you will get random start points of the wizballs but youl
notice it s messed up when it starts on emulaters no idea
why it doesn't randomize on emulators must be a issue with
them and btw i noticed jackal changed the made by
thewizard in the memory and put his phone number there.
btw if your reading this
@ the jackal was good to meet ya mate.

there was also a linker made with this and an editor /
loader to load different musics into it and edit the scroll
text and load the 'whatever' behind it and link it all
then save , quite a nice piece of work actually and im not
blowing my own trumpet here
the editor and linker were really advanced for the time
it was created in
, improved on the rom routines for editing / speed etc
,could test restart the editor / intro at anytime
( which he never used obviously lol judging by the fuckt up scroll text )
, fast loading and saving of the 'prog' was linked
etc saved ( it could also load and save under the rom
) and theres a lot going on behind the scenes in this little
intro , wonder if anyone still has the full thing with
linker as it would be nice to see it all in action again just for
old times sake.

anyway thats that :) hope you enjoyed reading
and .. see ya later.
