Many thanks for your good comments and votes. To be honest I didn't expect this :)
As there was nothing special or new technique in this cover, I think the composition itself has a good weight in the impression that it made on you.
And the other thing which might be advantageous: I wanted to put the Gary feeling into it with priority over the instrument set..however I used around 5 different solo timbres/articulations (pulsewidth sweeps) to model the guitar sound at least approximately in different pitches/registers and velocities/expressions...and I guess the gliss/portamento/vibrato pitch-effects were te most important to do with much attention.

Gary Moore was a legend, my uncle taught me lots about him when i was young, also Peter Green.

Very nice! This was one of the first tunes I learned to play when starting with the electric guitar so it brings back good memories :) I think Ole Marius made a cover of this one too. R.I.P Gary
