Am I the only one that just gets a garbled centipede like screen full of chars when he runs this? and yes, I have read the manual and tried both real HW and VICE....

check the "1084S (full image)" numbers in the pdf, those should be correct (+/- 1 pixel/line perhaps). VICE "full border" mode is very close to that
