The cursor - one of those unsung heroes, finally appreciated.

He's the Montgomery Scott of computers.
Nothing works without him ;-)

Simple and very, very original game.
I don't understand the drama behind.
BTW love the soundtrack.

I really like the concept behind this. I kind of wish you could speed up the intro on repeated play throughs, and maybe it could be slightly more playable, but yeah, nice idea! I'd love to see the idea evolved further (who knows what that cursor is capable of! :) ). The music is great as well!

36418 here. Couldn't figure out when sideways movement became enabled and died a lot until I noticed it.

36284 is my best score so far, can you beat that ? - without cheating btw. I would love to see how high of a score people get - it at least shows they completed it. It is brutal at first, but gets easier after a few goes - then you can go for speed. Anyway, just glad some peeps are enjoying it and my efforts weren't in vain !

Make sure to read the instructions for this little gem, as it is hard to get in the beginning. Great music, indeed, but also the idea and execution of this game. Crazy nerdy, in a good way.

"I am the flashing c64 cursor.

For decades I have helped ninjas and moles... space pilots and spies... badgers and bears... launch their action adventures, but did they ever think to invite me along? No!

But that is all going to change! No more will I sit and wait while a fancy animated sprite saves the world. No longer will I be restricted to basic programming and the odd text adventure!

I am the flashing c64 cursor, ACTION HERO!

Connect your joystick to port 2, and follow the ingame instructions as the game evolves. Don't fall in the gaps, and try to collect the numbers 4, 0, 9, 6 in the right order as quickly as possible."
