nice art / code / music , but feel it's a bit lazy and "gallows humour" hence not rating it so highly. you are all old enough to have a kid of the same ages as the one who passed away in recent times. sorry had to say it. next time perhaps change the look of the sub for starters.. ffs

@jammer: yes, this demo sets a new world record with its 3810 meters, over the previous 459 meters :)

(the gulf of bothnia, where the red dot is, is actually even shallower with a maximum depth of 295 meters.)

@Jammer we know and we make things up along as we make them ;) We chalk things up to Artistic Freedom!

Very nice design, effects and graphics, and a very enjoyable soundtrack! Some effects are admittedly shown maybe even a little bit too briefly, but I see it as a bonus when the demo makes you want to watch it again. :)

BTW, you realize that deepest point in Baltic Sea is not even 460m? ;)

Very enjoyable demo and the soundtrack sounded amazing at the party PA. <3
Also the fake ending was a nice touch, I sooo fell for it. :D

Very nice demo - great to see FLT back in action with so many releases!

HCL - yeah, stop being grumpy! And go finish your damn demo, 5 years between X’s and it wasn’t finished enough to release? Bah! Also, go review -all- the X demos properly when you’re not in a grumpy mood :p

Seriously though, really nice demo. Congrats!

I can smell some reuse of effects in here! Whilst the demo is very nice and *again* makes perfect use of transparency in several effects, i still think it's ok to complain when the scroller with wonder-fading colors is used for the 3:rd or 4:th time.

I should of course release something better myself before complaining, so you're free to ignore my grumpyness anytime.

I've rewatched it 5 times today, as the effects are cool but last nothing, each part deserves to be admired for more.

Don't know what's actually going on in Fairlight? After year of steady quality with consolidated design there seems to be going on something fresh and experimental, here. Which is really cool!

Great demo with some really neat effects! Naturally, I love the every-second pixel transparency-parts the most. Wonderful energy in your latest demos.

Another highly enjoyable demo - Fairlight being so active in the demo game is a good thing for the scene, I think. Lots of polish and clever integration of the soundtrack on this one!

this demo is about a person who has everything in life, but needs something more, so builds a mini-submarine and goes to the bottom of the ocean.

at the ocean floor, something happens - we don't know what - but suddenly the protagonist is reborn into their own nirvana/heaven/valhalla/nangiala (whatever you want to call it): a c64 demo. and decides to stay there for a while (forever).

one interpretation of this is that whenever you're feeling really low, watching a bunch of c64 demos will make you feel better.

another interpretation is that we missed to greet Atlantis in Hues and made a demo especially for them.
