I remember the original I got was buggy as hell. Guess that's why AEG does not offer it anymore. Even the Smash Designs homepage has only the crack for download.

Interestingly the free download here and from the Smash Homepage contains my one-side crack, not the 2-sided original. ;)
It was offered for 25 D-Marks (ca. 13€) back then in 1999!

@Richard: I have asked AEG himself and although it was planned to get released as freeware, it wasn't in the end and AEG sold over 200 copies. Thanks

BUT: It's downloadable for free since a while from Smash Design's Homepage!

This is more like a technology/engine demo, than a fully polished game, or then it simply is unfinished (bosses that don't shoot at all etc.)

This game is highly recommended for any shoot 'em up or R-Type fans out there. Although freeware, it would probably have made a great commercial buddget title for the C64 :)
