Cool release, mates!
But what's the difference between the final version and the one Dr. J sent me some weeks ago? ;)

This one is just awesome - not only but especially 4 oldskewl loving old bastards as myself. Some of the single parts just feel like being back in 1988 - only with better logos & fonts & more thorough code :) Other parts were just quite impressive to me. Choice of music is also very good, also the newer tunes.

Just counterchecked at home on old and new VIC on the "new" Grundig PAL TV someone donated to BCC. In this case it was NOT the competition machine's fault that the star fields in two parts were not visible very well, it had more to do with the loss of quality caused by the beamer, dirt on the yellowing big screen or whatever. So stop telling me that the penguin can fly on new VIC - I checked, it doesn't ;)

Was so great to have you at the party, please come back next year!

Cheers, Ryk!

Okay, just reviewed this one sober and on my own real machine =) My personal favorites are the MI-intro and the penguin part. I also like the 'oldschool-look' parts [ kudos to Dr.J for nice plasma! I failed at that one... damn dithered charsets ;-) ], but the others felt more 'personal'. So I'd love to see more of you guys in that direction.

Crossing my fingers that you find a musician that fits into your group!

EDIT: oh yes Dr.J, I think it would be nice to meet you :-)

What a cool demo guys! My favorite is the first "Monkey Island" part. Very cool that you named the pub BCC. It was nice to party with Nomistake. With your demo this was a really tough competition at BCC.
