It´s funny how this production is being critisized, when back in the day it was quite common practice to do a quick party ´demo´ when you were visiting fella sceners or partys. No matter the groups involved!!

I remember somewhere late in ´91 or early ´92 Power/Collusion and DPlay/Turtles visited me regulary and we would do similar ´demo´s´ and have a lot of fun with it...

Ofcourse we never released them, as both Collusion and Turtles were quite inactive at that stage already, but we must have atleast 6 or 7 of these party demo´s.

Using the scrollers to rag on people aswell as each other, tell nonsense and just waste time. Too bad we never released this stuff, as we were all at a stage of quitting the 64-scene for Amiga.

"demo" i don't even class it as that. just an intro without the spacebar routinue.. best thing about the whole thing was the flight logo, and thats about all.. waste of my time.

You can do it with expanded sprites? Damn man, I invented diagonal FLI esp. for my version :(

Seriously though, who cares about the quality of this thingy, it was obviously made just for fun.

Rather an intro (however, introducing what?).

The "real", "true", "allmighty" sceners has spoken. :-D

I agree with some previously made comments and can't believe what I have seen here, too. Enough said.

I totally agree with Taper here. It's disappointing to see the name AFL connected to something like this. The flight has crashed & stopped it seems.

If this is how Alpha Flight is trying to regain it's former glory, just put it to rest again. The Alpha Flight I knew would never cooperate with crap groups and members of the retard scene.

what effect? I just see two swinging logos and scrollers.

Yes, very nice effect .. I guess that's the reason why I used it for the intro of Running Out, back in 1989 ;)

I liked the sinewave in the font, but I was really confused and hammered space, and several other buttons for some time before I realised it was just this scroller. This != demo.

Richard, you have improved :)
So it's definitely a "afl-crypt" demo as you can easily see by the credits, I mean, despite code, gfx and music almost everything was done strictly by afl&crypt members, right?

its nice and all, but i'd hardly call it demo - even less if released in the name of AFL. sigh

Now here's one old school style demo featuring nice graphics and old-style effects. Thanks for the greetings :)
