Make sure to check Greenrunner also with built-in trainers. | User Comment Submitted by Motion on 27 March 2012
Playing this in Vice, only using "space" I made it to the 13th round, "Burning Lava", and then my arms cramped. But Im for sure gonna play this on proper hardware when Im home in a few hours. | User Comment Submitted by Goat on 27 March 2012 User Comment Submitted by The Overkiller on 27 March 2012
Imho trainers are another way to show the skillness of a cracker to find'em, sometimes are helpful for betatesting (read: skip level on multilevel games). About the rest .... there's a N option if you dislike'em ;-) | User Comment Submitted by Achim on 27 March 2012
Redrunner is a Jeff-Minter-Style shooter. Blasting fun completely over the top. Who really wants a trainer for this? Everybody should play this kind of game the way Minter suggested: Smoke a 'recreation cigarette' and have fun. | User Comment Submitted by Sixx on 27 March 2012
Thought Mr. organizer had all the answers regarding trainers without consulting crackers. Damn demo sceners. LOLZ!!1!! | User Comment Submitted by enthusi on 27 March 2012
I just read "fixed" and a "maximum of 10 bugs per level"-trainer and had a good laugh ;-)
I should consider that an option for my own games :)
Seriously, nice release. Its always been quality not quantity.

Seriously, have a chat to a cracker about over-training and the threshold of trainers before they feel "okay, that's enough, I am happy". | User Comment Submitted by hedning on 27 March 2012
Please stop patronize me. It's really irritating with that disgusting condescending tone. | User Comment Submitted by Jazzcat on 27 March 2012
My comment was not serious (as stated). Regarding learning about trainers, I suggest you speak to some crackers or check some releases a bit further. Maybe you will find the answers you seek. | User Comment Submitted by hedning on 27 March 2012
It was not off topic, and it followed the discussion below that you had with Didi. Talking about polluting: nice joke about basic. "lolz". | User Comment Submitted by Jazzcat on 27 March 2012
Hedning: you should have messaged me on IRC rather than polluting this release entry further. Perhaps you should send Slator an email regarding trainers or read some of the old magazines to learn a bit about over-training? | User Comment Submitted by hedning on 27 March 2012
But what is the "proper" way then, Jazzcat? I am curious for real. Is it to train the shit out of a game, and leave the choice to the player, or to train more sensible and don't ruin the game? May I quote you from the docs to Fairy Well +5MD? "We could have added plenty of trainers to this game for the sake of showing some large amount in a directory name or trainer menu but we wanted to do things in the proper way". (Which by the way is a somewhat strange statement in a +5M game...) It seems like your agreement with Didi here means the exact opposite of what you said in that release (ignoring the fact that it was +5M)? | User Comment Submitted by Jazzcat on 26 March 2012
hehe, basic runs fine on NTSC (haha, only joking).
Didi: yes, the choice is always at the players hands no matter if it is sensible trainers or insensible trainers. | User Comment Submitted by Didi on 26 March 2012
hedning: I also checked some of the GP releases but they did not require NTSC fixing.
Jazzcat: We train what's possible and leave the choice which trainers are required to the players. | User Comment Submitted by Jazzcat on 26 March 2012
Nice fix! This game is one of the CSDb releases that did deserve trainers! | User Comment Submitted by hedning on 26 March 2012
