Love it! Took me some time to dig up Fisichella and make a test song, I can confirm now the emulation with the victorian player works well - at least for my simple example :-)

Oops, 4-mat's Tech Tech crashed, because I was writing to the CIA timer registers in wrong order :-D (switching from VIC-I noise frequency $FE to certain other frequencies caused a spurt of NMI's and choked the stack...) Fixed!

@aeeben: yeah, it was kind of a cheap shot, sorry. :)

It's a nice release showcasing vic-20 music, thanks for releasing it!

Scout, just load your Victro Fisichella song ($1a00-$1dff) to C64 and then run Victorian Player... For any other player routines, just change the Init and Play (once a frame) vectors at ($0ffc) and ($0ffe). The default (Fisichella) is Init $1c00 and Play $1c06. tlr, Datapop sound hacks are obviously a little too complex :-D

Awesomeness!

Oh...if tlr can, I can do it as well; shameless plug, where's my Victro tune ;-)

Nice collection although some songs (notably ORB) suffer from missing those viznut waveforms.

Shameless self plug:
...and where's datapop? ;)

Very nice idea (I also like the scan images in the .rar). VIC was my first computer and I did sound experiences on it aswell. (I don't think those tapes survived...)
But well, I think those tunes still sound too C64'ish. The VIC sound is more clear and trashy.
