Load, let it crash, soft reset, load again, works - warp the annoying intro - text screen - watch the track counter walk. All with my trusty Retro Replay image on latest vice :)

@Stormfront - you are ofcourse right, i had been searching in a clumsy way!
@Count Zero - for real? It loads? In Vice? When i tried, it just crashed. Maybe my Action Replay was in the way, once again, but i was sure i had removed it.

After the intro soft-reset trick anything appears to work fine.
From the text screen on it is actually loading with drive LED being off. All is fine and also the marked broken upload seems to work from there.

Curious indeed what causes the intro to crash.

That's not true, see here:

But - the CRYPT S./SBI release from the initial disks (marked as corrupt) seems to be a genuine file, not yet available anywhere else. Do not delete the corrupted disks! (Although it seems like it has an NTSC targeted intro)

This doesn't even load if you replace the main file with the Dominators' Grand Monster Slam release. Also two files are missing compared to the Dominators release.
But: the intro will start in VICE if you load the main file, let it crash, and then soft-reset, load and run it again.
So, the intro could be salvaged, the release itself seems FUBAR.

I found a version which I could transfer error free. But the Intro doesn't work with WinVice, works on my C64C. The loader after the Intro seems just to fuck up. Can't identify the problem.
