What a surprise (to EVERYONE...) if you want to do small demos, feel epicly welcome to try the 1k intro competition at Forever party in March :) | User Comment Submitted by Oswald on 15 August 2017
it was epic arriving at the party place and being told Resource (we) are releasing a demo I had no idea of. great job Dale ! :) | User Comment Submitted by celticdesign on 14 August 2017
Epic little one-file, well done and welcome back! | User Comment Submitted by Visage on 14 August 2017
Well deserved! Really liked the idea to have two effects, both are ruling, in my opinion. Hope to see another challenge next time, maybe? :) | User Comment Submitted by Yogibear on 14 August 2017 User Comment Submitted by Dale on 14 August 2017
Thank you! It was just a pet project of mine, plus a way to work out issues in my own Retro Assembler I used to build this demo, so I'm surprised it won the Arok 2017 demo competition. :) I plan to make more demos, but not sure if I'll work on full disk demos anymore. I was always attracted to the "what can I squeeze into one file" approach. This one uses over 100 KB of data and code among the two effects, so it's a good start. The demo works both on PAL and NTSC, that was an important aspect too. It will likely get a Plus/4 port too, because why not, and I started out on a Commodore 16 (with 64KB memory expansion) so it would be nice to go back to those roots too. | User Comment Submitted by Dr.Science on 14 August 2017
