Another tiny touch I worked at is about the startup code. When the original version starts level 1, it resets the video mode to monochrome: that causes a brief visual disruption of the dashboard area and of the "Central Park" picture. This "feature" was fixed too so there's no visually disrupting transition at the starting level.
