Slator - Thanks! Yes, I was a bit short on memory and CPU to do much with the graphics.

Jammer - I've just posted a heap of notes to the forum discussion for this release.

I love the loop, sample excellent work on that part, logo bit weak for me. Still a great entry. If I could have it back in 88... :)

Thanks Mixer. It wasn't easy with just 8.5 seconds worth of sample memory available :)

Thanks Jammer, that means a lot coming from you <3

Fair point Yazoo, I'll try for a more balanced entry next year :)

technically impressive and awesome for sure! in all other aspects it's not a real beauty for me, so i have a bit of mixed feelings and want to vote a "10" and a "5" at the same time. as a graphician the visuals and overall look and feel are quite important for me
...i have to be honest :-) but still it's an impressive intro as said before...

Considering technical side, it's UNDERRATED AS FUCK! So much samples crammed into 16k. Madness!

Awesomeness waking up to a crack with this sampled thing. Miss some of the Contex-fx one could have wanted served with though. Like logos doing hard BDSM stuff against each other ;D

Thanks all.

ccr - fair point. Partly memory, partly time; there's only enough space left for one screen and 5/8ths of a cset to share between the logo and the scroller, and my last few days were spent trying to squeeze in the rasters and event sequencing. Also I wanted to be able to bring in the words one at a time, with no space for code beyond d02x bashing.

Wertstahl - forcejoin?

Supercool technically, have to deduct one point for the 'coder' aesthetics ... though I suppose you didn't have much space left for the gfx due to audio :)

This was completely unexpected, the screenshot doesn't give away the awesomeness of this intro.
