Whoa! Jesus, that massive build-up to 1:55 aaaaand... Well, shit gets utterly destroyed by blam-blam flat bass and flat drums. Really expected noisy meat climax filled with low basses after that point. The rest? Perfection!

Bloody multispeed f'n hell... :O

It starts misleading, Kraftwerk plays Pong sort of cute, then the gate opens and I don't know, it feels like my head ran into a brick.

What a beast was created!

Awesome, inspiring SID bloodshed. Respecto maxima!

Filter and 6x player routine all the way up the arse, where is the plastic-snare? Sound real lubed to me....

Best music in a themed demo evahhh... best themed demo evahhhh... politically wrong 2day when we are grown-ups, but so correct for a jolly life - make fun, have fun and be fun... jolly demo with better sounds than most music today... and with melodies!

https://csdb.dk/release/?id=8814&fbclid=IwAR0s0h2seFp50Zfn8HCbu..

PS: again I really like your sounds, just lack a melody but I guess your thing just differ...

PSS: Try do something like Zoids with your sounds

indeed not bad, just wanted to check it out, but it spent ~5 minutes playing while I surfed the net, and this almost never happens to me with SIDs, nice background track :)

Very cool track! The distorted sound makes me come a little... :-) Did you come up with the title or the sound first?

Haha... I'm trying to imagine what it would be like to play a Jeoren Tel tune on a date.

Oh man, the sounds! You're on fire...
On the melody thing: I'll enjoy a decent melody-driven SID tune as much as the next man, but different styles/genres/whatever of music privilege different musical dimensions - melody and harmony aren't always salient. I'm not about to start criticising folk songs for not having any banging drum patterns ;) Speaking of banging, yes, this tune is very... Amazing stuff.

@PAL: I'd say there's much more composition than technical splendor in sids nowadays as majority of musicians are not that keen on digging in sound design - sometimes I'm really tired of those reused plastic bucket snares for example ;-) Leaving comfort zone might be refreshing both for listeners and creators ;-)

this is awesome! much less boring than another recycled chord progression :) is this single speed?

and yeah, i wish more composers would leave their comfort zone and do more experiments

@PAL - I believe that the scene has many great composers nowadays but it has also mature in the way that people are not afraid of experimenting with sounds and different styles. It’s true that sid music is known from its regular form where lead plays a crucial role and this is one of the reasons I also fell in love with it. From the other hand, I also knew that sound-wise it can be pushed much further than we think. To the point where it can also follow different music genres where the lead sound is not principal.
The good thing about scene and sid music, in general, is that it doesn’t make our living. Therefore, we can experiment as much as we want without serious consequences.
I see you often appreciate today’s sids by leaving positive comments. In fact, you did this also to my music, so at the end of the day, you are not that much unhappy with what is happening around sid these days ;)

I like this in a way... but on the other side... where is the melody, composition? Is this a melody? ...or is it just a nerd galore? I miss a melody and something to sing too... "flinkiser""technical splendid" there are a lot in our scene but where are the true composers nowadays... make a melody! If sounded a bit hard here, it is not the intent... I just could not play this for a date, I could with Jeroeans earlier ones... or Geirs tunes... Ole Marius tunes would make them shake into bits ;-)
