I've seen images like this before, such as in TSS Statement. Maybe there's a paint prog that does these?

Graphically, I think this intro screen looks quite cool. I could imagine that background of the picture being animated instead, like a kaleidoscope. There should be some music too obviously.

If you want an NTSC version of this, Mindscape released this in the US as "Spell of Destruction", it's Gamebase ID 7180.

This is playable in NTSC but the command/inventory section is very jumpy.
