Dr.j: The sprites are only needed because Adarias did not make this with MCOL restrictions in mind. It was made for a weekly on Pixeljoint, as I wrote in the trivia.

So there are just very small number of chars where he used all 5 colours at the same time. Hence sprites, to get it over to the real thing 1:1.

cool but i really puzzled if the sprites addition is a must here, cause what is great on this piccy in my humble point of view is the lack of colors so its increase the sharpness of the image . but all in all very interesting piccy! THX!
