There is a little story behind this production...

In 1992 I was in contact with a member of the french group Babygang, I told him that I had ripped the kickboxer animation of the Full Contact Amiga intro only using my Action Replay MK2 and some patience... It was a simple IFF ANIM file located in memory.

He was excited and interested to include the animation in next Babygang's production : Hexagone II (Hexagone II)

At that time, the only way I knew to tranfer video data from Amiga to C64 was... capturing the Amiga video output with my C64 video digitizer !!!!!!!

The kickboxer part in Hexagone II is great for the time but it could have been better if I could have transfered the hires animation correctly.

25 years later, I decided to do this great Amiga game intro justice ! I dusted off my Amiga and Action Replay and ripped the kickboxer animation
again like in the gold old days.

First I just wanted to make the kickboxer animation part but I quickly thought that with the memory capabilities of the EasyFlash cart I could easily include the entire intro.
So I also dusted off Deluxe Paint animation to make the credits animations.

Grass provided two great pictures and Uctumi a stunning soundtrack !

And here we are...

Some graphics technical info :

The credits part is made of 128 charsets and screens

The Team HF logo rolling tube is made of 154 frames which are 1078 C64 sprites

The kickboxer animation is made of 256 frames which are 3359 C64 sprites.
