Small change to decoding and one can free the char end markers and gain 25/26 bytes/lines, which can be used for more characters. Maybe next time.

Nice work on all the optional coordinate deltas in the decoder, and also for running to 19x19 instead of settling for a smaller size with fewer byte boundary crossings.
