Evoke 2019: 2nd place in the "Alternative Platform Compo" - "The Tuneful Eight"
The hardware used is an Ultimate64 Elite board, with two additional FPGASIDs in socket 1 and socket 2. To get them fit into the small space 2 additional sockets were needet, to lift one a bit over the other. The Ultimate64 Elite is running with a special firmware, that is capable of handling 2x4 UltiSIDs alone.
In the demo 2x2 UltiSIDs were used , together with 2x2 FPGASIDs. Several firmware test were performed, to get the best addressing for each SID, to get the best possible stereo effect.
