Found out what was the problem here, after taper assured me they tested it over and over again on various VICE versions. If you run it on WinVICE, it requires reSID emulation as on FastSID the following condition is never fulfilled:
.C:0f21 AD 00 D4 LDA $D400
.C:0f24 C9 41 CMP #$41
.C:0f26 D0 3D BNE $0F65
So emulators still suck in 2019 and I'm sorry to have troubled Triad guys with that!
PS: I'm aware that FastSID emulation quality sucks anyway, but if you code and have various VICE windows open, reSID leeches CPU power as hell and falls back far behind 100% |
