I thought this song was inspired by avid golfing with someone's head as the ball and therefore the music being jazzy / relatively happy was a surprise :)

Melodically it is a bit too modern-jazzy-complex and maybe even a tad chaotic for me. I'm a simplez man and I need my simplez four chords and three note melodies. :) But matters of taste, of course. One cannot deny the awesomeness of the sound engineering, very hard to believe this is mere 0.5x! The overall balance is just right too, I just wish the main lead melody (and arps too in a couple of places) were a little bit less challenging as they steal the focus from everything amazing that happens behind them.

That echoed arp stab is brilliant!
