Back in the days I didn't know better :)
It worked on our machines (I have 6510-1485) (Swedish versions with real ÅÄÖ-Keys, not those stickers on they keyboard I saw on some versions of the C64)

Thanks for the info, infact it seems to be working correctly only with a rev 2 KERNAL ROM.
Changed screenshot from first part, it's noticeable that now there's white instead of the blue that you get when using a rev 3 KERNAL ROM.
Also part 2 and 3 suffer the same color problem for the same reason. The reason is how the clear screen is called:
1040  A9 09     LDA #$09
1042  8D 21 D0  STA $D021
1045  A9 93     LDA #$93
1047  20 D2 FF  JSR $FFD2

to fix it just change STA $D021 to STA $0286
