Very nice lecture on the Transmission64! And a great tutorial on creating this logo.

I wasn't fully convinced about the discussion on anti-alias though. As I have been taught,
anti-alias serves as a mathematical proximation of blending out jagged lines with a very precise counting method in equal steps
(dependent on the length between each change of a line/curve/surface etc. and also on the number of colors available).
For example, an 8-pixel long distance between next "jagg" of a staircase,
I would at least first start with adding 4 pixels of an intermediate color between the two existing (foreground and background):
If I had one more color I could count 2, 3, 3 etc.
I see you oversimplify it a bit and leaves quite sharp jagged lines still, with fillet "rounded corners" just close to each change.
