I don't think so, at least for me it's not a problem downloading gzipped d64s from csdb.
Anyway this thing doesn't actually work even with speeddos, it just crashes during packing.
It's another hack of Mc-cracken compressor in any case.

very strange, disable temporarly True Drive Emulation and it will work, it seems to loop checking $dd00
Oh probably it needs paralleel cable as it works using Speedos
